What is the difference between the XS and XE forks?

The XS features narrower fork legs designed for smaller wheel and tire combinations. It is also lighter than the XE model. The XE offers additional clearance and is better suited to larger BMX racing setups, including some Junior, Expert XL, and Expert XXL applications.

Do I need to cut the steerer tube?

Cutting the steerer tube is optional and typically unnecessary. Fitment depends on your frame’s head tube length, headset, stem, and spacer configuration.

Can I use a star nut with this fork?

No. A star nut must not be used with this fork. Installation requires the included Box One Stem Lock or a compatible expander plug, such as the Box One Carbon Headset system. Using a star nut will void the manufacturer’s warranty.
